All right, if you came here looking for a bunch of wimpy "new country" worthless country music, just click here and return to my homepage. You'll notice I don't have this littered with a bunch of slimy sleazy worthless current-radio-fare country music. I don't have any Trace Adkins, Diamond Rio, or even any Garth Brooks. It's not that they are "newer" artists or that they aren't my favorites, it's just that to me, their music doesn't sound "country". It sounds more like whatever it was that Perry Como and Dean Martin used to sing. So if you like hardcore, drag your boots on the floor as you shuffle, and dig this beer guzzlin', pickup drivin', gun totin' country music as you scroll on down! As I noted on my "Top Rocks Songs" page, I tend to get a lot of hate mail from people saying things like, "hey you left so-and-so off your list and you deserve to die" or "so-and-so isn't really country, so why are they on your list?", etc. If you don't agree, keep it to yourself. If, on the other hand, you agree with some of my picks or want to offer positive feedback, then please e-mail me.
